Terms & Conditions

By ticking the box provided, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) governing the use of the Therapy Rooms suite of websites and software Namely TherapyRooms.com , TherapyRooms.ie , Therapists.ie, gettherapists.com and Bookatime.online  (collectively referred to as “TR”, “the Software”, “we”, or “us”). Where one of these entities is referenced, it shall also apply to the others interchangeably.

1. General Terms

  • TR reserves the right to update and amend these T&Cs at any time without prior notice.

  • TR provides hosting of profiles and facilitates connections between users. TR does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the identity, qualifications, or credibility of any therapist or user.

  • All information, data, and images are uploaded by users. TR does not validate this information. It is the responsibility of each user to verify the identity and credentials of the other party before engaging.

  • TR accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of uploaded data, nor for any loss, damage, or misuse of data or personal property.

  • Data held by TR is stored securely on third-party servers hosted by Digital Ocean.

  • Breach or violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account.

2. GDPR and Data Protection

  • By making an enquiry, registering via email, WhatsApp, or subscribing to our mailing list, your details will be added to the TR database. This enables us to keep you informed about TR products, services, and newsletters, in line with your selected preferences.

  • You may opt out of communications at any time by adjusting your subscription preferences via the link provided at the bottom of our emails, or by contacting [email protected] or [email protected].

  • When completing a registration, application, or intake form, your data may be shared with relevant external organisations (e.g. clinical placements, Garda Vetting Bureau), but consent will always be sought first.

3. Account Terms

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining your account details, including passwords, communications, and customer interactions. TR cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from failure to comply with this obligation.

  • The email address used at registration is your primary identifier and cannot be changed unless formally requested in writing.

  • You are responsible for all content, files, and communications on your account, including content posted by others using logins under your account.

  • You must not use TR for any illegal purposes or to violate any applicable laws (including copyright laws).

  • You must provide your full legal name, valid email address, and any other required information during registration.

  • Each login may be used by one individual only. Multiple users must have separate logins.

  • You are solely responsible for all interactions with clients, therapists, or users who contact you via TR.

  • TR does not screen or background-check visitors or professionals.

4. Payments, Refunds, Upgrades, and Downgrades

  • Listings are charged monthly in advance.

  • Occasional promotions or offers may apply and are subject to these T&Cs.

  • Listing fees, referral fees and booking subscriptions are payable in advance.

  • “Pay per lead” services are charged before an enquiry is received. TR cannot guarantee that any enquiry will result in business. Please see our Pricing Page for details.

5. Modifications to the Service and Pricing

  • TR reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the product, solution, or software at any time, with or without notice.

  • TR may transition from a beta version to a paid service at its discretion.

  • All prices are subject to change with 30 days’ notice, which may be provided via the website or directly within the service.

  • TR shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of service.

6. Cancellation and Termination

  • You are solely responsible for properly cancelling your account. Email or phone requests do not constitute valid cancellation.

  • Upon cancellation, all content will be immediately removed, and within 30 days, permanently deleted from all backups and logs. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

7. Copyright and Content Ownership

  • All content posted must comply with applicable copyright laws.

  • TR may share listings on its social media platforms (including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram) to promote visibility.

  • TR claims no ownership over materials you upload; all intellectual property remains yours.

  • TR reserves the right (but not the obligation) to review, refuse, or remove content deemed inappropriate or in breach of these T&Cs.

  • TR is not responsible for screening therapists, medical professionals, or location owners — this responsibility lies solely with users.

  • The software’s design, layout, and code are the copyright of JuSo Software. You may not duplicate or reuse any portion of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual elements without written permission.

8. General Conditions

  • Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

  • Technical support is provided via email only.

  • Both location owners and users (therapists, professionals, or medical practitioners) are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and background checks.

  • TR uses third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide infrastructure; users must not modify or interfere with the Service.

  • You agree not to reproduce, copy, resell, or exploit any portion of the product or service without written permission.

  • TR staff may access your account to assist with setup or resolve issues if requested. TR may also remove or modify content that breaches laws or these T&Cs.

  • By submitting an enquiry, you consent to your information being reviewed and, if relevant, forwarded to the listing owner.

  • TR is not responsible for the accuracy or content of submitted information.

  • Abuse (physical, verbal, written, or otherwise) towards TR staff or other users will result in immediate termination of your account.

  • Data transmission may occur unencrypted across various networks and may be modified to meet technical requirements.

  • TR reserves the right to temporarily disable accounts that significantly exceed average usage levels; reasonable efforts will be made to notify you beforehand.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

TR and JuSo Software make no warranties that:

  1. The product or service will meet your requirements.

  2. The software will operate without interruption, errors, bugs, or downtime.

  3. Results obtained will be accurate or reliable.

  4. The quality of any products, services, or materials obtained will meet your expectations.

  5. Any defects will be corrected.

You expressly agree that TR and JuSo Software shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses — resulting from:

  1. Use or inability to use the service.

  2. Misconduct by users or location owners.

  3. Costs incurred in procuring substitute goods or services.

  4. Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.

  5. Statements or actions of third parties on the service.

Failure by TR to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TR, superseding all prior agreements.
Any new features or updates to the service are subject to these T&Cs, and continued use implies acceptance of such changes.
